1. 01Always with edition and yearThere is no permanent 'current stars' attribute. Guide information is always shown with its edition and year, e.g. 'MICHELIN Guide Japan 2026'.
2. 02Only what can be verifiedWe read the distinction and year from the structured data of each restaurant's page on guide.michelin.com and store the URL and date checked. Nothing is inferred.
3. 03Past is never presented as presentEach edition adds records; nothing is overwritten. Earlier years remain as history and are never confused with the latest edition.
4. 04No rankingsLists are never sorted by number of stars by default. Indexes are alphabetical; features are editorial.
5. 05No official logos or star glyphsDistinctions are written as text only. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Michelin.
6. 06No false completenessThis archive covers a selection of restaurants and is not a complete list of the guide's selection.
