Introduction

はじめに

A Higashi-Azabu unagi house founded in the Kansei era.

An unagi restaurant in Higashi-Azabu, Minato-ku, founded in the Kansei era of the Edo period under the 11th shogun Tokugawa Ienari; the current head is the fifth generation. The Azabu Iikura main shop is a farmhouse-style building made from a gassho-zukuri house dismantled and brought from Hida-Takayama, and there are also shops in Ginza, Shimokitazawa, Nihonbashi Takashimaya and Paris.
