Introduction

A Sendai gyutan-yaki specialist, since 1948.
A gyutan-yaki (grilled beef tongue) specialty restaurant in Ichibancho, Aoba-ku, Sendai, closed on Tuesdays. Founder Keishiro Sano opened it in central Sendai in 1948 (Showa 23), and it is now run by the second-generation owner. Its grilled beef tongue and oxtail soup are described as signature dishes created by the founder.
